July TBR

July TBR
It’s my birthday month!!!! So ya’ll don’t know this, only my sister does, but I read Christmas books in July as a part of my Christmas in July tradition. I love cheesy Christmas romances and feel-good holiday stories so much. I don’t have enough time in December to enjoy all the books I want to get to. Life gets hectic around the holidays. So in July I like to break out the Christmas books.I also usually go camping at the end of the month to celebrate both my birthday and my boyfriend’s so I will hopefully have lots of time to read and relax.
Here are the Christmas books I’d like to read:
Deck the Hallways by Kate Carlisle
Small Town Christmas by Debbie Macomber
Book club still hasn’t picked a book but I’ll update this when they do. We did vote for a paranormal so it sounds like I will like it!
My childhood book will be Animorphs 1 The Invasion by K.A. Applegate.
I borrowed The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang from my sister.
Shadow Weaver by Marcy Kate Connolly
Seeker of the Crown by Ruth Lauren
Graphic Novels and Manga!
I have Library Wars 11 and 12 out from the library.
Monstress Vol 2 by Marjorie M. Liu
Afar by Leila del Duca
Coyotes Vol 1 by Sean Lewis
Lifeformed:Cleo Makes Contact by Matt Mair Lowery
Batgirl Vol 1 Beyond Burnside by Hope Larson
Grimm Fairy Tales Vol 2 by Ralph Tedesco and Joe Tyler

Comment below and let me know what you are reading this month! Also tell me your favorite Christmas book!

May TBR

I don’t make a lot of TBR’s mostly because what I read is heavily influenced by my mood. However, I’ve been in a huge reading slump and I love completing list.
My childhood book I’ll be reading this month is The Princess Bride by William Goldman. It’s my sister’s birthday month and we loved reading this together as kids.
The book club book is Royal Ruin by Jessica Peterson.
The books I already have out on overdrive from the library (if you don’t know what overdrive is check it out and see if it is available to you.) are:
Rebel Spring by Morgan Rhodes
Blood Cross by Faith Hunter
Day 21 by Kass Morgan
Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs

I just realized that all of these are 2nd books in their series.

Everything else I read this month I want to read from my own shelves.
Last month I got a couple Calvin and Hobbes books I’d like to get to.
On the Game of Tomes youtube channel in their April wrap up they talked about Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. This book has been on my shelf over 5 years and even though I really want to read it I just haven’t gotten to it yet.
I’m currently reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with my daughter.
Hoot by Carl Hiaasen is another book I’ve been putting off for too long.
Promise Canyon by Robyn Carr is the next book in the Virgin River series I have to read.
16 Lighthouse Road by Debbie Macomber is the first book in the Cedar Cove series, just because I don’t have enough series going for me =D.
That’s my tbr.
Comment down below if you’ve read any of these or just to let me know what you are reading.
